Forecasters predict Saturday will be the last cool, rainy day
Saturday will be the last cool, overcast and rainy day in Lithuania, according to the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service, as reported by LRT.
Meteorologist Tadas Kantautas told LRT Radio that showers and possible thunderstorms are expected across many regions on Saturday, with the northern part of the country seeing the most persistent rain. Winds will blow from the northwest and west at 7–12 m/s, reaching gusts of up to 15 m/s along the coast in the evening. Temperatures will range between 16–21°C.
On Sunday, brief showers and thunderstorms are possible in places, with patchy fog expected at night and in the morning. Winds will be variable at night, shifting to northerly and northwesterly at 4–9 m/s during the day. Nighttime temperatures will drop to 11–16°C, while daytime highs will reach 21–26°C.
Monday will see similar conditions, with brief showers, thunderstorms, and fog in some areas at night and in the morning. Winds will be northerly and northwesterly at 5–10 m/s. Temperatures will range from 13–18°C at night to 24–29°C during the day.
