Tomas Daukantas to become government chancellor

Tomas Daukantas, currently serving as chancellor of the Ministry of Transport, will become the chancellor of the government, incoming Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius announced on Tuesday.

“I have spoken and agreed that the Ministry of Transport’s chancellor, Tomas Daukantas, could become the government chancellor. We will start with that, and the rest of the team remains,” Sinkevičius told journalists at the Seimas.

Eitvydas Bingelis previously held the position of chancellor in the 20th government.
