Weather forecast predicts rain, temperatures up to 23 degrees
Lithuania’s Hydrometeorological Service has issued a weather forecast for the coming days, as reported by LRT.
Sunday will see partly cloudy skies, with clouds gradually clearing to reveal more sunshine. However, many regions can expect short-term rain, with some areas experiencing heavy downpours and thunderstorms. Winds will be strong, primarily from the west, reaching speeds of 15–17 m/s in some places. Temperatures will rise to between 18–23°C.
Monday’s weather will remain similar, with overnight short-term rain expected in many areas. Skies will stay mostly cloudy, and winds will persist, particularly along the coast, with gusts of 15–17 m/s. Due to thick cloud cover, temperatures will not drop below 10–15°C at night. During the day, cloud cover will be variable, with short-term rain and possible thunderstorms in many regions. Daytime temperatures will range from 17–22°C, with rain expected to taper off by Monday evening.
Tuesday will bring a new zone of thick clouds from the west, resulting in overcast weather with clear spells. Both day and night will see intermittent rain in many regions, accompanied by moderate westerly to southwesterly winds. Nighttime temperatures will drop to 10–15°C, while daytime highs will reach 15–20°C.
