Employee of Klaipėda company suspected of embezzling over half a million euros

An employee of a Klaipėda-based company is suspected of embezzling more than €560,000 over three years, LRT reports.

The company’s manager filed a report with Klaipėda city police on Tuesday at 14:00, stating that between 2023 and March 1, 2026, an unnamed employee allegedly falsified client records in the company’s database and misappropriated €563,303 through deception.

Police have launched a pre-trial investigation into the fraud allegations.
