Lithuania to see light rain and temperatures up to 27°C

Lithuania’s hydrometeorological service forecasts light rain on Thursday, with warm temperatures persisting, LRT reports.

According to synoptist Janas Voitkevičius, light rain is expected on Thursday, with northwest to west winds reaching 6–11 m/s. When the sun appears, temperatures could rise to 22–27°C.

On Thursday night, brief showers, occasionally with thunder, are expected in the northwest and many regions during the day. Winds will shift to the south-southwest at night, reaching 7–12 m/s, and to the southwest and west during the day at 9–14 m/s, with gusts up to 15–20 m/s in western areas. Nighttime temperatures will range from 12–17°C, while daytime temperatures will be 19–24°C.

Similar weather is expected over the weekend, with widespread rain, occasional thunder, and strong, gusty winds. Daytime temperatures will reach 18–23°C. Next week will remain rainy and relatively cool.
