Stormy weather warning issued for Tuesday with heavy rain, hail, and squalls expected
The Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service has warned of stormy weather on Tuesday, with heavy rain, hail, and squalls expected in some areas, LRT.lt reports.
According to forecasters, Tuesday will bring thunderstorms, with heavy downpours in places, as well as hail and squalls with wind speeds of 15–20 m/s. Morning showers may include thunder, while daytime temperatures will range from 27–32°C in most regions, though western areas will see cooler conditions at 21–26°C. Overnight temperatures will be between 13–18°C, with light winds.
Weather conditions are expected to improve significantly later in the week, with cooler temperatures and scattered showers from Wednesday onward. Thursday and Friday will see brief rain in many regions, with winds shifting direction and gusts up to 18 m/s. Weekend forecasts predict short rain showers and temperatures between 18–23°C.
Meteorologists note that the start of the new week will remain relatively cool.
