Unlicensed ammunition found in Lithuanian army instructor’s home, restraining order issued over violence

Police in Lithuania’s Kaunas district discovered 51 rounds of unlicensed .22 calibre ammunition in the home of a Lithuanian army instructor on Friday afternoon, the Police Department reported on Saturday.
The ammunition was found during a response to a reported incident of possible domestic violence at the 1975-born man’s residence in Garliava. Authorities have issued a restraining order against the man for protection against violence in a close environment.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched for the unlawful possession of firearms, ammunition, explosives, or explosive substances.
