Weather forecast: temperatures to reach 30 degrees with rain and thunderstorms

Lithuania’s Hydrometeorological Service has forecasted rising temperatures and stormy weather for the coming days, as reported by LRT.

On Sunday, widespread rain and thunderstorms are expected, with hail possible in some areas. Winds will reach 7–12 m/s, strengthening to 15–18 m/s during thunderstorms. Temperatures will climb to 27–30°C, while coastal areas will see 21–26°C.

On Monday night, brief thunderstorms are likely in eastern regions, with a low chance of rain during the day. Winds will ease to moderate levels of 5–10 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from 13–18°C, with daytime highs of 22–27°C. Coastal areas will experience 18–21°C.

Tuesday may bring short spells of rain, mainly in the northeast, but skies should clear by evening. Daytime temperatures will peak at 26°C, with overnight lows of 10–15°C.
