Weather forecast: temperatures to reach 24°C, no significant rain expected

Lithuania’s weather will be particularly summery this weekend, with temperatures rising to 24°C and no significant rainfall forecast, according to the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service.

On Friday, cloud cover will dominate until noon, but a high-pressure system will later bring clearer skies. Winds will be light and westerly, with temperatures reaching 19–24°C.

Saturday will be influenced by an anticyclone, with clouds dispersing overnight. Winds will be weak, and temperatures will drop to 9–14°C at night but rise to 24–29°C during the day, with no rain expected.

Sunday will remain warm, though more clouds will appear. There is a chance of light rain in western regions at night and in central and eastern Lithuania during the day, with possible thunderstorms. Winds will stay light, and temperatures will range from 13–18°C at night to 25–30°C in the day. Coastal areas will be slightly cooler.

Early next week, a high-pressure system will strengthen, reducing the likelihood of rain. Monday night may see brief showers in some areas, but rainfall chances will remain low on Tuesday. Temperatures will slightly ease but stay summery, with nights around 10–15°C and days reaching 21–26°C.
