Police identify man who shot at teenager’s phone with pellet gun in Domeikava

Kaunas police have identified a 19-year-old man suspected of firing a pellet gun at a mobile phone held by a teenager in Domeikava, Kaunas district, LRT reports.

The incident occurred on the afternoon of June 5, when a shot was fired from a passing car, striking the phone in the 15-year-old’s hands. The teenager was unharmed, but the phone was damaged.

An investigation was launched by Kaunas County Police Commissariat, leading to the identification of the suspect, a 19-year-old resident of Kaunas district. He is accused of violating public order. The pre-trial investigation is overseen by prosecutors from the 4th Division of the Kaunas Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
