Vilnius company reports missing diamonds from damaged shipment
A Vilnius-based company has reported the disappearance of diamonds from a damaged shipment, according to a statement from the Police Department.
The company filed a report with the Vilnius County Chief Police Commissariat at 15:21 on Tuesday, stating that around 15:00, it received a shipment of small natural diamonds at Šeimyniškių Street in Vilnius. The package, delivered by a courier, was found to be damaged, and the diamonds were missing. The value of the order was €12,289.
Police have launched an investigation into the theft.
