Rain and wind to give way to warmth with temperatures up to 25°C by weekend

Rain and wind will soon be replaced by warmer weather, with temperatures reaching up to 25°C by the end of the week, according to a forecast by the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service, as reported by LRT.

Tuesday will remain overcast with scattered showers, some heavy with possible thunderstorms. Westerly winds will reach 8–13 m/s, with gusts up to 15–20 m/s, particularly in western regions. Temperatures will range between 14–19°C.

Wednesday will see similar conditions, with intermittent rain, strong winds, and temperatures of 8–13°C at night and 16–21°C during the day. Rainfall will decrease as the cyclone moves away, though eastern regions may still experience light showers.

From Thursday, the weather will improve significantly. The cyclone will retreat, reducing rainfall to occasional light showers. Temperatures will rise to 18–23°C, slightly cooler along the coast. By Friday, warmer air masses will push temperatures to 20–25°C.
