Sunday weather: showers expected, thunderstorms possible
Lithuania will see cloudy skies with occasional sunny spells on Sunday, according to the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service.
Forecaster Janas Voitkevičius told LRT Radio that many regions can expect brief showers, with heavier rain likely in western areas. Thunderstorms are also possible in some locations.
Winds will blow from the southwest at 7–12 m/s. Due to extensive cloud cover, temperatures will remain between 13–18°C.
The start of the new workweek will bring little change. Monday and Tuesday will see similar conditions, with showers and possible thunderstorms. Southwest to west winds will reach 5–10 m/s at night and strengthen to 8–13 m/s during the day. Nighttime temperatures will range from 8–13°C, while daytime highs will be 14–19°C.
Conditions will gradually improve on Wednesday, with brief showers and possible thunderstorms. Winds will remain moderate, but temperatures will rise to a more summer-like 17–22°C. Further warming is expected next weekend.
