Lithuania has recorded no illegal migrant crossings at its border with Belarus for the 11th consecutive day, the State Border Guard Service reported on Friday, citing BNS.

Latvian border guards turned back 82 migrants on Thursday, while Polish authorities reported no interceptions on Wednesday.

This year, Lithuania has denied entry to 775 illegal migrants. In 2025, there were over 1,600 recorded attempts to enter the country illegally from Belarus, compared to 1,002 in 2024.

Since the start of the migration crisis triggered by Belarus, Lithuanian border guards have prevented more than 25,300 foreigners from entering the country illegally. The influx of migrants into the EU’s eastern members via Belarus began in 2021, with Western nations accusing Minsk of orchestrating the crisis.
