Possible narcotic substance found in soldier’s car in Žasliai
Lithuanian police reported that a possible narcotic substance was found in a car driven by a soldier in Žasliai on Tuesday, LRT reports.
According to the Police Department, at around 18:49, a BMW 330 was stopped in the town of Žasliai, Kaišiadorys district. The car was being driven off-duty by a sober Lithuanian soldier born in 2004. During the vehicle inspection, a sealed polyethylene bag containing a plant-based substance—suspected to be a narcotic—was found and seized.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched for the unlawful possession of narcotic or psychotropic substances without intent to distribute.
