Infant dies in Zarasai district home

An infant has died in a house in Lithuania’s Zarasai district, according to a report by public broadcaster LRT on Sunday.
The Utena County Chief Police Commissariat confirmed the child, born in 2026, was found dead at approximately 3:31 a.m. local time. No external signs of violence were observed on the body.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched to determine the cause of death.
