Person jumps from Aleksotas Bridge in Kaunas

A person jumped from Aleksotas Bridge in Kaunas on Friday morning, Lithuanian public broadcaster LRT reports.

Emergency responders received a call at 8:03 AM reporting the incident near the intersection of Hermano and Oskaro Minkovskių streets. Upon arrival, firefighters found an unconscious man on the pedestrian path below the bridge, showing signs of life.

The area was cordoned off with police tape while the man was transported to a medical facility by ambulance.
