Three members leave Klaipėda city council’s Nemuno Aušra faction in one month

The Nemuno Aušra faction in Klaipėda city council has lost three members in the past month, according to a report by Lithuanian news portal 15min.

Councillor Aleksejus Diukinas announced his departure from the faction during a council session on Thursday. His exit follows the earlier decisions by politicians Kęstutis Bartininkas and Monika Žviklytė to leave the group.

All three former faction members will continue their work as independent councillors. The Klaipėda city council currently has 31 members in total.

The Nemuno Aušra faction now retains four representatives: Henrikas Galinauskas, Vidas Karolis, Sergejus Mažūga, and Ramūnas Mika.
