Three members leave Nemuno Aušra faction in Klaipėda city council

Three members of the Nemuno Aušra political faction have left the Klaipėda city council within the past month, according to a report by Lithuanian news portal 15min.

Councillor Aleksejus Diukinas announced his departure from the faction during a council session on Thursday. His exit follows the earlier resignations of Kęstutis Bartininkas and Monika Žviklytė, both of whom also left the Nemuno Aušra group.

The three former members will continue their work as independent councillors. The Klaipėda city council now has 31 members in total.

Four representatives remain in the Nemuno Aušra faction: Henrikas Galinauskas, Vidas Karolis, Sergejus Mažūga, and Ramūnas Mika.
