Four minors injured in wave of violence in Šalčininkai district

Four minors were injured in three separate violent incidents in Lithuania’s Šalčininkai district within a single day, Vilnius police reported Friday.

According to authorities, the first assault occurred around 2 p.m. at a local school, where a 16-year-old was beaten during a conflict. Police gathered evidence at the scene.

Later, at approximately 11 p.m., a 43-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man attacked a 37-year-old woman and two minors, aged 14 and 10. An investigation has been launched into the incident.

A third assault took place after 11 p.m. in a public area, where a 17-year-old was severely beaten and hospitalized for injuries.
