A calm and mostly dry Friday will give way to warmer weekend weather in Lithuania before unsettled conditions return early next week, the country’s hydrometeorological service reports.

Friday will bring partly cloudy skies with little rainfall as a high-pressure system strengthens from the southwest, according to Ineta Daunoravičiūtė, a synoptician at the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service. Brief, light showers may occur in some areas, primarily in northeastern Lithuania, with winds reaching 8–13 m/s. Temperatures will range between 15–20°C.

The weekend will see warmer conditions. Saturday is expected to be mostly dry, with clear nights and daytime highs of 18–23°C (13–17°C along the coast). Winds will ease, and overnight lows will drop to 5–10°C. A new cyclone will approach from the north on Sunday, though the night will remain dry. Daytime may bring brief showers, mainly in northern regions, with temperatures again reaching 18–23°C (13–17°C on the coast).

Early next week, weather will turn more changeable. After a dry and warm Monday, conditions will shift rapidly on Tuesday, with rain and stronger winds forecast.
