Lithuania to see temperatures reach 23°C in places

Parts of Lithuania will enjoy temperatures as high as 23°C on Wednesday, according to meteorologist Simona Dalinkevičiūtė of the Hydrometeorological Service, as reported by LRT.

Skies will be partly cloudy, with more persistent overcast conditions in the eastern and northeastern regions. Western areas will remain sunnier. Scattered showers are possible, accompanied by light northerly winds. Daytime highs will range from 18°C to 23°C inland, while coastal areas will see cooler temperatures of 14–17°C.

Wednesday night will bring cloudy skies with occasional clear spells, along with isolated thunderstorms in the northeast. Winds will strengthen, with overnight lows dropping to 7–12°C.

On Thursday, brief showers are expected across much of the country, with a chance of thunderstorms. Northwest to westerly winds will reach moderate speeds of 7–12 m/s. Temperatures will again peak at 18–23°C inland, while coastal regions will stay cooler at 15–16°C.

Friday’s forecast includes scattered showers and possible thunderstorms, with westerly winds increasing to 8–13 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will fall to 6–11°C, while daytime highs will range from 15–20°C inland and 11–14°C along the coast.
