Gunfire damages windows of two homes in Klaipėda

Two residential buildings in Klaipėda had their windows shot out overnight, with police launching a pre-trial investigation into the disturbance of public order, the BNS news agency reported on Monday.

Authorities were alerted after a 40-year-old man reported a shattered window. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a second home had also been struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported, though the extent of material damage is still being assessed. Shell casings were recovered at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
