Lithuania will experience unsettled but occasionally summer-like weather this week, with temperatures peaking at 23–24°C despite cyclones bringing rain, the country’s Hydrometeorological Service reports.

According to forecaster Teresė Kaunienė, a Black Sea cyclone will move across Lithuania overnight, bringing widespread showers—some heavy in the north—along with thunderstorms and gusty winds of 7–12 m/s, reaching up to 14 m/s during storms. Nighttime temperatures will range from 8–13°C.

Tuesday will see mostly cloudy skies with occasional rain, particularly in the west, where winds of 8–13 m/s will persist. Daytime highs will reach 15–20°C, though coastal and western areas will stay cooler at 11–14°C.

Wednesday will bring drier conditions as Lithuania falls under a weak high-pressure system. Rain chances will be low, though fog may linger in western regions. Winds will ease, with overnight lows dropping to 3–11°C. Daytime temperatures will climb to 18–23°C inland, but only 14–17°C along the coast.

Another Black Sea cyclone will arrive on Thursday, increasing cloud cover and bringing scattered showers, some with thunderstorms. Nighttime temperatures will hover around 7–12°C, while daytime highs will reach 19–24°C inland and 15–18°C on the coast.

Friday will see a gradual strengthening of an anticyclone, leading to sunnier skies. Only northern regions may experience brief showers. Winds will shift to the west at 7–12 m/s, with overnight lows of 6–11°C and daytime highs of 16–21°C inland (12–15°C on the coast).

Saturday will start dry but cool, with temperatures dipping to 4–9°C overnight. Daytime will bring isolated showers in the northeast and moderate westerly winds, with highs of 18–23°C inland and 14–17°C on the coast.

Sunday will be slightly warmer but wetter, with increased chances of rain.
