Window cleaner falls from sixth floor in Vilnius, rushed to hospital

A window cleaner fell from the sixth floor of a building in central Vilnius on Friday afternoon and was urgently taken to hospital, Lithuanian public broadcaster LRT reports.

The man was reportedly unconscious after the fall. Emergency services transported him for medical treatment, according to the Vilnius County Chief Police Commissariat.

Witnesses said the worker was cleaning windows on Švitrigailos Street when the incident occurred. The Labour Inspectorate has launched an investigation into the accident.
