Lithuanian police search for ATM robbers after Latvian authorities trace suspects to Lithuania

Lithuanian police are assisting Latvian authorities in the search for suspects wanted in connection with an ATM robbery, after the trail led to Lithuania, LRT.lt reports.

According to the Panevėžys County Police Commissariat, Latvian police contacted their Lithuanian counterparts at 11:46 AM, reporting that individuals suspected of ATM thefts had left Latvian territory and were believed to be in Lithuania. An operation codenamed “Arrest” has been launched in the Pasvalys district to locate the suspects.

A vehicle linked to the suspects has been found. Authorities urge anyone who spots the individuals shown in police photographs to immediately contact emergency services at 112.
