Lithuanian anti-corruption agency launches fact-check on environment minister’s property deal

The Lithuanian Special Investigation Service (STT) has begun verifying information regarding environment minister Kastytis Žuromskas’ acquisition of real estate and his use of state-owned land, state news agency ELTA reported Monday.

The move follows public allegations made by journalist Karolis Žukauskas, which prompted the STT to examine the circumstances of the property purchase and land use.
