Kauno police search for missing woman and toddler

Kaunas police are searching for a 25-year-old woman and her two-year-old daughter who went missing on May 4, Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) reported on Tuesday.

The woman, identified as Lina Rainytė (born 1999), left her home with her daughter (born 2022) around 5:00 PM on May 4 and has not returned. Their last known location was A. Juozapavičiaus Avenue in Kaunas.

Rainytė is described as having light-coloured hair. On the day of her disappearance, she was wearing a dark green sweatshirt with a grey logo on the left front side.
