Scattered showers, some heavy with thunderstorms, are expected across much of Lithuania on Thursday, the country’s Hydrometeorological Service has reported.

Forecaster Janas Voitkevičius told national broadcaster LRT that brief rain is likely in many districts, particularly in the southeast, where downpours may be intense. Temperatures will range from 10–15°C in most areas, though eastern regions could see highs of 16–21°C, with the southeastern edge reaching up to 23°C. Winds will be moderate.

On Friday, isolated showers will persist, mainly in the southeast, with moderate winds continuing. Nighttime lows will drop to 2–7°C, with ground frost of 0 to –5°C possible in northern areas. Daytime highs will climb to 12–17°C, warmest in western Lithuania.

The weekend will bring scattered rain to the east, while western regions warm to 19°C. Frost remains likely overnight.
