Lithuanian border guards block 38 irregular migrants from Belarus

Latvia’s border service reported blocking 51 migrants over the same period, while Polish officials recorded no attempts on their section of the border that day.
Since the start of the migration crisis orchestrated by Belarus in 2021, Lithuanian guards have stopped around 25,300 irregular entries. Last year, 1,600 attempts were thwarted at unofficial crossing points, with 705 blocked so far in 2026.
