Two minors injured in separate assaults in Vilnius

Two minors were injured in separate assaults in Vilnius on Thursday, police reported.

According to the Vilnius County Chief Police Commissariat, a 53-year-old man physically assaulted a 14-year-old boy during a conflict at a volleyball court around 5 p.m. The victim received medical treatment at a hospital and is now undergoing outpatient care. Authorities have launched a pre-trial investigation into causing physical pain or minor bodily harm.

In a second incident, an unidentified man, possibly intoxicated, attacked and injured a 14-year-old girl near a residential building at around 10:20 p.m. The victim was treated at a hospital and is also receiving outpatient care. A pre-trial investigation has been initiated on the same charges.
