Teenager goes missing after leaving hospital in Vilkaviškis

A 15-year-old boy has disappeared after leaving a hospital in the southern Lithuanian town of Vilkaviškis late on Thursday evening, police reported on Friday.

According to the Marijampolė County Chief Police Commissariat, the minor, born in 2011, left the emergency admission ward of Vilkaviškis Hospital on Maironio Street at around 9:25 p.m. on April 24 and has not returned, LRT reports.

The boy is described as approximately 160 cm tall, of slim build, with light-coloured hair. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black sports trousers.

Police have not released further details about the circumstances of his disappearance.
