Lithuanian police have opened three pre-trial investigations into separate cases of violence against minors, public broadcaster LRT reported Wednesday.

In Vilnius, a 39-year-old man allegedly assaulted a five-year-old girl at a stadium in the capital around 4:30 PM. Authorities in Utena County launched a separate probe after a 34-year-old boy was physically harmed during a conflict on Veterans Street in Visaginas at approximately 11:58 AM.

A third investigation was initiated in Telšiai following a report from the district’s child rights protection office. A 32-year-old man is suspected of abusing a newborn girl on two occasions—March 27 and March 29—at a residence on Lygumų Street. The suspect has not yet been questioned.
