Lithuania to see sunny and warm weekend with temperatures up to 18°C
Lithuania will enjoy sunny and calm weather on Saturday, with temperatures reaching up to 18°C in some regions, according to the country’s hydrometeorological service.
Forecaster Simona Dalinkevičiūtė told national broadcaster LRT that skies will remain mostly clear, with little cloud cover and no rain expected. A moderate north wind will bring daytime highs of 14–16°C across most areas, while southwestern Lithuania may see temperatures climb to 18°C. The Curonian Spit will be slightly cooler but still above 10°C.
Saturday night will bring little change, with skies staying mostly clear and only a slight increase in clouds toward morning. Rain remains unlikely, and winds will ease to a light breeze. Overnight lows will range from 0 to 5°C, with patchy ground frost possible in some areas.
On Sunday, cloud cover will increase, with cumulus clouds forming and a chance of brief, summer-like showers—particularly in southern regions. Winds will strengthen slightly, remaining from the north at moderate speeds. Daytime temperatures will reach 12–17°C.
Early next week, drier conditions are expected, though winds will shift to the northeast and later to the north, growing stronger by Monday. Nighttime frost will persist, with lows between 0 and 5°C and localized drops to –1 to –6°C. Daytime highs will cool to 9–14°C on Monday and 10–15°C on Tuesday. From Wednesday onward, temperatures will rise again to 12–17°C, with scattered short-lived showers possible.
