Lithuania to see sunny and warm weekend after mixed Friday weather
Lithuania will experience a dry and warm weekend following a day of alternating rain and sunshine on Friday, according to the country’s Hydrometeorological Service.
Meteorologist Paulius Starkus told national broadcaster LRT that a retreating cyclone will bring unsettled conditions on Friday, with widespread showers developing in the afternoon. While rain will be light to moderate—heavier in the east—temperatures will range from 8–10°C in the southeast to 15–16°C in the northwest.
Conditions will improve significantly by Saturday as the cyclone moves away. Skies will clear overnight, with only the southeast seeing brief early rain. Daytime temperatures will climb to 12–17°C under mostly sunny skies, with minimal chance of precipitation. Nighttime lows will dip to 0–5°C.
Sunday will remain dry, though cloud cover may increase slightly. Highs will again reach 12–17°C, with overnight temperatures holding steady at 0–5°C.
