The fire erupted in a two-storey brick building on Račių Street in the Vilkpėdė district, near Savanorių Avenue. Firefighters confirmed the blaze originated in a tool storage warehouse, covering an area of approximately 60 square metres. The facility stored batteries, and initial findings indicate lithium batteries could be the source of the fire.
Emergency response teams were quickly deployed to the scene to contain the blaze. Further details will be provided as the investigation continues.
