Giedrius Jucevičius resigns from Lithuanian National Broadcaster’s governing council
Giedrius Jucevičius, a member of the Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) Council appointed by President Gitanas Nausėda, has resigned from his position, Verslo žinios reported Tuesday.
Jucevičius cited a significant increase in the workload of LRT’s committees and the council as the reason for his decision. His term was set to expire on May 12, 2030.
A professor and researcher, Jucevičius serves as head of scientific research at Vytautas Magnus University’s Faculty of Economics and Management. He holds a doctorate in social sciences and is a member of the university’s Senate, chairing its Strategy and Governance Committee. He also leads the Joint Doctoral Committee in Management Science (a collaboration between Vytautas Magnus University, Mykolas Romeris University, and Kaunas University of Technology) and serves as editor-in-chief of the academic journal Organizacijų vadyba.
