Lithuania to see spring warmth with scattered showers midweek
Lithuania will experience changeable weather with brief showers and mild spring temperatures this week, according to the country’s hydrometeorological service.
Simona Dalinkevičiūtė, a synoptics specialist at the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service, told national broadcaster LRT that Tuesday will bring partly cloudy skies, with isolated light rain in some areas. Winds will strengthen to 7–12 m/s, while daytime temperatures will climb to 12–17°C. Coastal regions will remain the coolest, with the warmest conditions in the south.
On Wednesday, skies will clear overnight but cloud over again during the day, though significant rainfall is unlikely except along the coast. Winds will ease, with overnight lows dropping to 0–4°C and daytime highs reaching 13–18°C.
Thursday will see scattered showers, primarily in the southwest overnight and across much of the country during the day. Winds will remain light and variable. Nighttime temperatures will range from 0–5°C, while daytime highs will reach 10–15°C, though coastal areas will stay cooler at 7–9°C.
