Teenager found unconscious in Vilnius dies in hospital

A minor discovered unconscious in Vilnius on Saturday has died, Lithuanian public broadcaster LRT reported on Sunday.

The 16-year-old was found at around 8:13 pm on St. Stepono Street and taken to hospital, where medical staff were unable to save their life. Vilnius County’s chief police commissariat has launched a pre-trial investigation into potential incitement to suicide or assistance in suicide, as well as to determine the cause of death.

The teenager was born in 2010.
