Man’s body found in Vilnius, one suspect detained
A man was found dead in an industrial building in Vilnius early Sunday, with police detaining a suspect in connection with the killing, LRT reports.
The body of a 41-year-old man was discovered around 5:55 a.m. in a building on V. A. Graičiūno Street in the Paneriai district of the Lithuanian capital, according to the Police Department. A 46-year-old suspect has been taken into custody.
A pre-trial investigation for murder has been launched. Under Lithuanian law, murder carries a prison sentence of seven to 15 years.
