Parts of Lithuania will experience mostly cloudy skies on Thursday, though no substantial precipitation is expected, according to the country’s Hydrometeorological Service.

Speaking to public broadcaster LRT, synoptic forecaster Paulius Starkus said atmospheric pressure will rise as a high-pressure system to the north influences conditions. However, a low-pressure area to the east will bring increased cloud cover.

Eastern regions will remain overcast until evening, while western areas may see some morning sun before clouds thicken. Winds will come from the northeast, with temperatures reaching 4–6°C in most areas and 7–9°C in the west.

On Friday, skies will begin to clear overnight, though southern Lithuania may retain low clouds. A slight chance of light precipitation remains, with northerly winds strengthening and temperatures dropping to between 0°C and –4°C in most regions. The south, where clouds persist, may see around 1°C.

Daytime conditions will remain unstable but drier, with no rainfall expected. Temperatures will climb to 7–12°C, with partly cloudy skies and more sunshine than Thursday.

Over the weekend, scattered light showers are possible, particularly on Saturday night and into Sunday. Nighttime temperatures will range from –3°C to 2°C, while daytime highs will stay between 6°C and 11°C. Winds will weaken and shift direction.
