Cold nights and strong winds expected across Lithuania
Lithuania will experience chilly nights and persistent strong winds over the coming days, the country’s Hydrometeorological Service reported Wednesday.
Temperatures will drop to between 0°C and 5°C at night, with daytime highs reaching just 4–9°C on Thursday, forecasters said. Wind speeds will remain high at 9–14 m/s, peaking at 15–17 m/s along coastal areas and in northern regions.
Wednesday will bring partly cloudy skies, with more sunshine in northern districts but no precipitation. Winds will stay strong at 9–14 m/s, while temperatures will range from 6–11°C.
Conditions are expected to improve slightly by Friday, with winds easing to 6–11 m/s. Nighttime lows will hover around 0–5°C, with daytime highs climbing to 6–11°C. No rain is forecast.
