Wet and windy conditions will dominate Lithuania on Tuesday, with rain and sleet expected across much of the country, according to the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service.

Simona Dalinkevičiūtė, a synoptist with the service, told public broadcaster LRT that a low-pressure system will bring overcast skies and precipitation to most regions. Rain is forecast in many areas, though some sleet may also occur. Daytime temperatures will range from 4°C to 9°C.

Northwesterly winds will strengthen, reaching 15–20 m/s, with gusts possible. Conditions will begin to improve on Wednesday, with scattered showers limited mainly to the southeast. Skies will gradually clear, and sunshine is expected to return, though winds will remain strong, shifting to a north-northwesterly direction. Nighttime temperatures will drop to between -1°C and 3°C, while daytime highs will climb to 6–11°C.

From Thursday onward, a high-pressure system will bring drier weather, with little to no rain expected through the weekend. Winds will gradually ease, though Thursday will still see gusts of 8–13 m/s from the north-northeast. Temperatures will rise steadily, reaching 7–12°C on Friday, 9–14°C on Saturday, and up to 15°C in southern regions by Sunday.
