Police investigate two separate assaults on minors in Radviliškis district and Šiauliai
Lithuanian police have launched pre-trial investigations into two suspected assaults on minors in Radviliškis district and Šiauliai, public broadcaster LRT reported Thursday.
In the first incident, a 17-year-old male allegedly attacked a 15-year-old boy in Raudondvaris village, Radviliškis district, at around 10:00 on March 30. The victim was hospitalised for treatment. Authorities have opened a probe into minor bodily harm.
In a separate case, Šiauliai police are investigating an assault on a 11-year-old girl. A 47-year-old man, reportedly sober, is accused of inflicting physical pain or minor bodily harm on the child at a residence on Vytauto Street at 07:00 on March 25.
