Lithuania will shift from sunny weather on Thursday to rain and stronger winds over the weekend, the country’s Hydrometeorological Service has reported, as cited by LRT.

High-pressure conditions will dominate on Thursday, bringing mostly clear skies with minimal cloud cover across most of the country. Western regions may see lingering morning fog, though clouds will increase slightly later in the day. No rainfall is expected, with temperatures rising to 10–15°C inland and 9–14°C along the western coast.

Thursday night will remain dry, with temperatures dropping to 0–4°C in many areas. On Friday, a low-pressure system will approach from the west, increasing cloud cover, though rain is unlikely before late evening in western regions. Daytime highs will reach 9–14°C.

The weekend will be dominated by a cyclonic system, bringing overcast skies and widespread precipitation. Saturday will see rain in most areas, with a chance of wet snow in some locations. Nighttime lows will hover around 0–5°C, while daytime temperatures will peak at 5–10°C. Winds will strengthen, and showers are expected to continue into Sunday.
