Lithuania to see warmer weather after early week rain
Lithuania’s wet start to the week will soon give way to warmer conditions, according to a forecast by meteorologist Elena Kliukina of the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service, as reported by public broadcaster LRT.
Tuesday will bring overcast skies, with rain expected in eastern regions while western areas remain dry and may see some sunshine. Daytime temperatures will range from 6°C to 11°C.
A weak cyclone will lose influence by Wednesday, leading to clearer skies and more sunshine across the country. Highs will climb to 8–13°C, though nights will still dip slightly below freezing in places.
The second half of the week is forecast to be drier, with light winds and a gradual rise in temperatures, Kliukina said.
