Lithuania will see spring-like conditions persist this week, with temperatures climbing as high as 16°C in some regions, according to national broadcaster LRT.

Meteorologist Vytautas Patašius told LRT Radio that Sunday will bring partly cloudy skies with sunny intervals, though brief showers may occur in western areas. Winds will be light and northerly. The warmest conditions—11°C to 16°C—are expected in the southeast and south, while western regions will remain slightly cooler.

No significant weather shifts are forecast for the coming week, though light rain is possible in some areas during the first half. Monday will see scattered showers and patchy fog overnight, with nighttime temperatures ranging from 0°C to 4°C, dipping to -1°C in some spots. Daytime highs will reach 9°C to 14°C, though coastal areas will stay cooler at 6°C to 8°C.

Tuesday’s forecast includes more widespread rain, particularly in the east, while western Lithuania remains drier. Winds will stay light, with overnight lows between 0°C and 5°C, dropping to -1°C to -3°C in western regions under clear skies. Daytime temperatures will rise to 8°C to 13°C, with coastal areas around 6°C.

The spring-like pattern is expected to hold in the near term, according to the meteorologist.
